The perfect half-height railcar to meet all your mapping needs!
Imagine a Box car cut in half horizontally. Now you've got yourself a Gondola! These cars are popular for bulk commodities used for construction and can often be seen hauling scrap metal, steel rebar, steel beams, grinding media, aggregates, logs, lumber, sand, copper, and iron ore. And now they can sit right at home in your TF2 map!
Created for the 2022 72hr Summer Jam, this is my first fully completed prop! Shout out to all the folks that helped me through some of the tougher parts of the process. Its something I've been wanting to model for a while, and the Jam was the perfect spot to finally dig in and get it done!
This prop serves as a sort of middle ground between the Boxcar and the Flat car; It sits at approximately half the height of the box car, and can allow you to create mid cover without the full box car. The bed is open on this prop, so you might want to fill it with a displacement or additional props. Collision will have to be disabled and re-created with Blockbullet brushes if you want players actually going inside the bay. Comes in 4 skins!
