INSTRUCTIONS

Unzip this archive into your 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom' folder.

Alternately if you use an automatic packing tool such as VIDE:

Unzip this in a seperate folder, then move everything inside '/props_antiquity/' (folders '/models/' '/materials/' etc) directly into your 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\' folder.

Start up Hammer through your preferred method. All assets can be found with the keywords 'Cambodian' or 'Ruins'.

One small issue:

models\props_antiquity\foliage\banyan_tree003.mdl is incorrectly included. This was an early test of trying to get the foliage and tree into one model. For consistency, I later renamed this to tree003a, but forgot to remove this early tree from the set.

I don't recommend using it because it looks bad, it's off center, and it has no physics -- use tree003a instead.

They'll be in the next version of the asset pack. As well as some other important things I forgot, like wall trim textures and standalone stairs. And also shorter roof pieces, because you can't walk straight up the angle of the current ones (oops).

Do you think skybox tree versions should integrate the foliage and just be expected to not use vertex lighting at all? Because it'd be very fiddly to have to place skybox-scaled foliage if don't clone the trunk to do it. I'll also change the skycard textures to match the banyans.

I think merged foliage with the skybox trees would be fine. However if you also give split foliage I will be happy since I'm using them a lot for bushes and general ground-foliage :D

Adding a bunch of stuff I made to get Antiquity ready for the workshop. Includes skybox trees, bushes, more textures, more props, etc.

Also a large number of stone and spytech stairs. Stone stairs are reskins of the ones I made for the Mayan content pack.

Btw, I forgot to mention this in the changelog or post, but I also reduced the sizes of all the prop textures from 2048x2048 down to 1024x1024. Most of the props simply didn't need that high of a resolution and packing all big textures into a map adds up super fast.

However in the next version, I'll be going back up to the 2048x2048 on the statue face textures, because they're kind of "hero" props and need to be a little crisper.
