So i was going through the old sdk_ctf_2fort when i noticed it had 6 fog controllers. Now this was surprising given the fact that i didn't know this about fog controllers. But i seem to have realised that fog is controlled client side? Giving you the ability to have multiple fog settings dependant on area_trigger activation. As i noticed a whole bunch of triggers over the map with the !activator command to trigger the appropriate fog settings. I really i had no idea. Maybe i'm just way behind the crowd in this one. But.. well. Yea..
