So i was going through the old sdk_ctf_2fort when i noticed it had 6 fog controllers. Now this was surprising given the fact that i didn't know this about fog controllers. But i seem to have realised that fog is controlled client side? Giving you the ability to have multiple fog settings dependant on area_trigger activation. As i noticed a whole bunch of triggers over the map with the !activator command to trigger the appropriate fog settings.

I really i had no idea.

Maybe i'm just way behind the crowd in this one. But.. well. Yea..

I was just learning fog effects yesterday, actually. Took me a little while to get it synced with my skybox, but it still needs tweaking to get things the way I want it. The main thing is to get the angles right on outdoor fog so the color changes when you look up at buildings and such against the sky color, and I've yet to get that right.
