Woog - More than just a box.

I have taken into consideration you guys' great feedback, and after a brief hiatus, Grape Industries thought it would be a cool idea to create an arena map! so that is what I have done here. It is not a box, and the gameplay is streamlined for public 12v12 combat.

This door opens when the round starts, but I can't actually go through it because of playerclip. It's not very obvious that you can't get in, and I'm not sure why a door is necessary for something inaccessible.

Leaving spawn makes you take fall damage. There's a medium health kit right next to me, but that's not particularly useful since only one person can use it.

Leaving spawn puts you directly into a sightline that spans across the entire map. Both exits are like this.

The entire map is like this, too. It's a 3x3 grid of rooms connected at their edges and nothing else. No height variation, hardly any cover, no attempt to block or manage sightlines, and very little in the way of actual choices to make.

The map is symmetric, both as a mirror and rotationally. When leaving spawn, there doesn't seem to be any reason why anyone should choose left over right.

Apparently this door doesn't open on blue side? Also, it has a no-entry sign to block the enemy team out, which is unusual for an arena map.

I would suggest trying to take this layout outdoors - instead of a bunch of hallways, put four buildings in a square to create the same pathways between and around them. From there, you can add interiors, adjust the sizes of the buildings, etc. and adding things like height differences and cover so that players have more geometry to take advantage of while fighting enemies.
