i like this map a lot so far
this is my impression of it from the point of view of a guy who likes 6s so feel free to disregard if that's not your target audience bit imo there could be potential there

excited to see things progress!

These patch notes make it incredibly hard to follow the map's development.
Why should I care about an update when: "big chungus" "woiehawkjhdkaw"
Makes it a thorn in my ass having to load the map every time I see a nondescript change.
Even a "Just testing the waters" change is best to be documented.
To be as blunt as humanly possible from my perspective: I feel cheated because I care about a change you seemingly don't care about.

Rhamkin updated Winterview V2 with a new update entry:

Alpha 8 update

Changed the trucks (the shed building) to a more linear and hopefully better area
Improved clipping on the area Alto told me about also some areas he didnt told me of
Added a small ammo pack in the new trucks (the shed building)
Mirroed the cliff rocks so it play the same in both areas
Made the point area a little taller so it would be easier to cap (thanks Alto)
Removed the little roof near the cap point
Now in place of the little roof its some fences so it blocks sightline and also cover...

I think to avoid confusion it'd be best to either rename this or the original Winterview to a different name, as they are quite different maps when it comes to how their layout is used and how they play. The only thing they really share are the theme & the original layout plans. I think names such as "Windchill," "Whittle," or "Whitewood" would be suitable for either. It's not something that's entirely necessary but it'd be really nice if they both had unique identities, as I quite enjoy both versions of the map :)
