Why make terrain with displacements when you can CARVE?

    Not enough obviously! But no seriously I did a search and saw it hasn't been posted for quite some time so I figured it'd be appropriate to start a new thread rather than bumping one months old.

    Of course why I thought it would be appropriate to start a thread about this in the first place is anyone's guess.

    that's a great idea? why settle for some small amount of brushes, when you can have somewhere around 2 million?

    More brushes = more detail, obviously.

    Each time he carved, a new hole in the time-space continuum opened creating a black hole and devouring whole galaxies. That's right, carving destroys galaxies.

    I think the scariest part of this video isn't the video itself, but the related vids. This video could be written off as a joke, but there are honest-to-god serious videos in the related section about how great the carve tool is.
