Why isn't there a TF2 weps community? (I didnt mean it like that. You guys are great)

    So, anyway, awkward moments aside, this is just me spitballing the idea. Think about it. The TF2 community is already nuts over coming up with weapon stats. And, technically speaking, they could have a gameday kind of similar to what we do today. Just spend a couple ours on a few maps, while they test out a bunch of weapon stats for each class on a modded server, sorta like advanced weaponizer. How the equip system would work, I don't know. Probably the same menu system that you find in an uber upgrades mod or whatever. Now, this is just a brief concept. How the stats would be implemented into the server would be a miracle that I can't think of yet. I don't know a particular amount of coding, so I have no idea how bad or good this idea is.

    Yeah TF2Tightrope may be what you're looking for? It's less silly than AdvWep, less about just adding new weapons for no reason, and more about fixing imbalances and making existing things more useful though

    tf2tightrope does a hell of a lot more than "fix imbalances" and "make existing things more useful".
