There are a few different entities for cables/ropes, and I want to know which one(s) I should use. I want a rigid cable where one end stays in place, but the other end is parented and moves along with a moving object. What should I do for this, and which entities should go where?
Moving cables are broken in TF2, sorry. That is, cables work but they will never move with their parent. However, they are made by creating a move_rope for the starting point, and then linking it to as many keyframe_rope points as you want.
Guess I gotta brush them. Somehow. Considering that one end stays and the other end moves, it would have to change size. Damn.
