I'm experimenting around with the idea of making a new gamemode around hunting yetis (yetie?), but I've run into a big of a snag.

I don't know how to properly rig a Yeti.

I was hoping to use the Sniper's rig, as that rig is the same that the skeleton npcs use. I've taken a few cracks at it, but the model usually comes out looking cursed as hell, and I figured that given my lack of knowledge and skill in this department I should defer to someone else.

If anyone can make a quick, dirty Yeti with Sniper's rig, I would be very grateful.

You don't need to use a custom model, you can just use "prop_dynamic_ornament".

Here's a tutorial .vmf:
Note:
- The sniper model is set to "Don't render".
- Touch the red square to turn into a yeti (taunt to see).
- When you touch the red square you'll become invisible but not your cosmetics.
- When it comes to changing the player model you need two prop_dynamic_ornament, this is because the one directly attached to the player turns invisible, but you can just use a second one attached to the attached model and that one is visible.
- Shoot the red button to spawn a skeleton with a yeti skin.
- When the skeleton dies the small skeletons won't spawn.

I'll start fooling around with the vmf and see what I can come up with. Thank you!
