Hi first time posting, really wanted to get into mapping just having some general problems with hammer. watched UEAKCrash series on getting started on mapping which is really well done and if you are new to mapping i highly recomend it, helps alot with basics.

so now to the main issue, when i launch hammer from the tf2 bin folder i get the vstdlib.dll is missing error this only happened after i installed the boojum snarks mapping resource pack and i know for a fact that i have the file in the bin folder, was just wondering if anyone else is having this issue and if there's a fix, maybe i need to uninstall the resource pack or theres a update for it not sure any help would be appreciated.

I don't know why that is happening. First thing to do is verify your game files. If you don't know how to do this, you go in Steam, right-click TF2 and click Properties > Local Files > verify integrity of game files. Make sure the game and Hammer are closed when you do it. At the end it will tell you how many files it has downloaded. Post back when you're done.

It's not really necessary but it's certainly super-helpful for mapping with TF2 (a lot of entities will show generic grey boxes unless you use the pack, which adds the icons to them).
