VIDE model problems

    I've been trying to get packed custom models working with VIDE but have had no luck.

    I have both hammer and VIDE pointing at the same .mdl file in tf/custom, but it always shows up as an error no matter what I do.

    I've gotten sound packing to work, but models refuse to.

    To test whether it packed correctly or not, I remove the .mdl file from tf/custom before I launch the game. Could that be the problem?

    ***FIXED***

    I merged the files from the model into tf/download, ran it with compilepal, and now it seems to be working.

    Use compile pal
    Vide and compile pal are the only fully functional packing solutions.
    Even then vide's auto feature is pretty outdated.

    I'm not using the auto feature though. I'm specifically directing it to the model in tf/custom, and I don't see why it wouldn't work.

    Stop messing with VIDE. Use CompilePal.

    What's the location of the model file? Is it in tf/custom/<nameofyourassetfolder>/models ?
