How does one actually use a blend texture? For example, there is one that blends from rock to grass, but when applied normally, it's just rock. How do I get it to blend, or be all grass? Thanks for the help :p and I know it's a bit of a dumb question.

first, the texture needs to be on a displacement.
in the displacement menu, the "paint alpha" button will allow you to "paint" the second texture where needed

You have to blend alpha. Open the Face Edit dialog (shift-a) and select the face you want. Now go to the second tab and click the Create button. Power 3 should be fine. Now use Paint Alpha to blend the texture.

Ah, so it must be on a displacement. I heard someone mention "Paint Alpha" before but I was like "Great... where the hell is that?"

    Thanks, guys. :)
