Using a brush to kill player

    I searched but can't find the answer.

    I'm sure I need a func_brush but how to make it work?

    Basically I have a long drop in my map, I want the player to die if they jump off when they hit the brush at the bottom.

    trigger_hurt go with 300 or more damage. if you want a nice bit of exploding bits, i like 1000+

    More like 450+, or else an overhealed Heavy wouldn't die instantly, I believe.

    Even 450 won't kill an overhealed Heavy (SDK was made for HL2, so I guess HL2 damage points don't equal TF2 Hit Points)

    600 works fine for all my maps. Selecting the "FREEZE" damage type will make the train icon appear int he kill bar up top, while selecting "BLAST" will make player gib

    Awesome, that was fast :)

    I would've guessed around 400, but didn't thin of overheal, hard to test solo

    Well, you can test overheal too.

    sv_cheats 1
    hurtme -150 (minus 150 or whatever value you want)
