Updating map images

I've been thinking about this for a while and I think it would be nice to have images on a map's main page update to the most recent update's images. As it is, the main page only shows a maps original version's images. The only way to show updated images is to overwrite the ones that are already there. This means that it can be difficult to know what the current version of a map looks like if the mapper hasn't updated the main pages images. The only way to know is either check the updates or download the map.

I'd like to see something you could expand and compress to show images from different versions of a map on the main page, or at least a way to keep the original releases images online while showing what's current on the main page. I hope I'm getting my point across.

Not a bad idea, but you're still relying on creators to only ever post a set of images that represent the entire map as thoroughly as the original set.
