For the newest of mappers, here is a super quick tutorial for making sure your map scale is correct!

I visited the University of Maryland (edit: just remembered this was taken at UMBC, though I did visit both) the other day, and saw these stairs, and instantly thought of this:

This is now the University of Incorrect Scaling.

Can you literally not title your threads misleading things? Especially in the 'Tutorials & Resources' forum.
It's not funny, it's just dumb.

I just remembered, this was taken at UMBC, not Maryland. I did visit both the other day though.

Is there a pillar going through the left hand staircase?

Real talk; stairs will always be the bane of my existence. I can never get my stairs to look right. :(

I've always done a rise/run of 8/12, and had the steps be 8 high, 12 long. They usually look good.

Ya, I go to UMBC, and I walk past this ridiculously impractical staircase every day. It haunts me.

(It's tools/toolsinvisible) Or they used tools/toolsblockbullets or even an invisible func_brush. Or this is actually a model of a stair with the collision just being a ramp.
