Toggle texture animation

    Is there a way to create a texture that will play a small animated video clip, but will do it only upon brush spawn, or model skin change? Or any another way to make small screen that plays toggleable animations

    So via some kind of input play an animation on the wall, and then stop, but animation should begin playing from the first frame

    So is there a parameter that allows to detect when brush got enabled or skin changed?

    I'd pray that they backported the video stuff from portal 2. That stuff fits the bill perfectly.

    Portal 2 allows to play videos in bink format on screens in the map.

    Not just "screens", any old brush face. Oh, and fullscreen too.

    The strange thing, TF2 does support Bink video. They just neglected to bring the entities with them when they brought over the codec.
