Texture replace

    OK, so I am mirroring a map, and it has loads of dev textures on it. I would like to replace all the blue one (which I built the map in) which red ones, on the mirrored side. However, when I run the texture replace tool, it replaces all of them in my map, even if I have only the ones that I want selected. Furthermore, the "change only ones selected" option is grayed out. What can I do, besides replacing each texture individually?

    You need to have the object selected, not the faces. So it's usually best to do it after you flip the map before you deselect the new half.

    To do this:

    Copy the bit you want to mirror
    Paste into a new window in hammer
    Click replace as you want
    Copy
    Paste back into map.
