    Hey everyone, this is my egypt themed map that I have been working on for some time now.
    It's my first attempt at a map for TF2 (and multiplayer in general) so I have no idea if this map will be fun at all! :unsure:

    It's a symmetric map with a tomb area in the middle. 5 CPs.
    You spawn in a temple like structure (which ain't done, so it looks awful) which leads directly outside where your final CP is.

    From here you can take a main path or a side path into the tomb.
    The side path leads straight into the tomb.
    To reach the main path you go into the next outdoor area (CP2) and then into the tomb (altough they take the same amount of time to reach the 3rd cp.)

    I want all comments I can get! I have never done something like this before and need to know what I did wrong so my next map will be better. :)

    As lovely as your map looks, I can't seem to get that wonky filesite you hosted it on to work. Shame. >:(

    You really should just put it up on tf2maps, like everyone else, because it makes things pretty easy.

    Uh..... what does comp mean? If it means competitive then yes of course!

    I just ran through your map. It is off to a great start!

    First things first, you have no soundscape. I would advise adding one so that your map feels more alive and so spies can sneak up on people.

    The doors in-between A+B and D+E are a good idea. They will make sentries stronger and make it easy for you to optimize with an occluder or areaportal. However, I found out that they opened through pure chance and wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Try adding some signage indicating that you can go through them and make it apparent that you can use them at any time. Also, one of the doors wasn't aligned properly and one didn't have sound.

    You'll probably want to add more signage in general. The layout isn't confusing at all but, I was initially lost and most maps are plastered with arrows pointing the player in the right direction.

    Finally, when you first spawn you see a door right in front of you. The door seems to be an exit but, it won't open. Also, each door in each spawn wasn't aligned properly and you could see a sliver of the outside though them.

    The map is looking great. It is well proportioned and well detailed. You captured the theme well. I'll be watching for servers running it :).

    I will fix those issues right away, has already started adding more signs and such.
