    An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
    • Updated menu content for upcoming end of the Heavy vs. Pyro war

    >low gravity jetpack
    >can change flame color/type, inflicting different kinds of damage
    >new flaregun with even higher jumps
    >axtinguisher only does damage to players with full health, insta crit always
    >increased speed when you wear hot fire boots with burning coals inside

    Also included: random medic update

    Ah well, Heavy can stay in the bin I guess.

    As for Pyro coming out of the bin, i'm expecting some extreme updates. Like some kind of Lightning Gun primary.

    To be real 20 MB is a bit huge for just some code and a picture and dont forget that they needed to delay the update 2 days

    "Due to Team Pyro's effort in the war, Pryo will be recieving a class pack in a future update!" I do hope they fix these spelling mistakes, they've recently been poor on the spelling front. Sneakily patching out things like a missing: of. In the mvm description.

    Aye, I spell things wrong too. But they are meant to be protessionals! (I'm meaning to misspell that). It just generally shows a lack of polish. But I guess TF2 is an old product so attention to detail isn't so much needed.

    Also, It doesn't mention anything about Heavy getting an update in the notification that I'm guessing will pop up at the end of the competition. I hope they haven't gone back on what they said about both heavy and pyro getting an update.

    Mostly I'm cross that neither the language (javascript) or the IDE bothered to tell me I was calling an imaginary function.

    This is the end of the war, but there isn't exactly a timeline for when the Pyro gets their class pack, or even when the Heavy gets his after that. Hoping this week's update that got delayed from the last is fixes for MyM and doesn't include the Pyro stuff just to keep the old drama from the new.

    I want Valve to first show that they're capable of properly balancing the current weapons before they go ahead and add even more weapons to the game. I mean, they nerfed the Bison of all weapons, taking away an intended and advertised feature while labeling it as a bug and oh by the way lets also buff the Quickybomb Launcher into the super OP weapons stack. Meanwhile: Reserve Shooter? Unchanged. Beggar's Bazooka? Unchanged. Axtinguisher? Unchanged. Baby Face's Blaster? Unchanged (to name a few).
