This has been the only promo update to make me go "what" out loud in a long time. So does that mean Minecraft is coming to Steam? Also, the AC:R promo apparently includes a knife replacement that looks the the hidden blade. Pretty snazzy really.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvzB3sy9auk Also looks like the MC box head is just for Notch and no one else, I don't get why that is worth adding to the game
tbf they are testing out a improved model optimization system in the beta atm so it's not like they aren't trying to fix the problems that some people are having with TF2 HellJumper
from the beta update notes it seems its loading optimization, not model optimization and with the amount of stuff currently in tf2, dynamic model loading is pretty much a necessity
Wish there was another way to get some of these promo items, seeing as I own AC:R on my Ps3 Anyway back to thoughts about this update, what's with the stream of promo items, I realise it's good for money and advertising but I'd appreciate it if we got some new things in Team fortress that aren't hats, or weapons with no beneficial effects.
The Assassin's Creed ones looks quite cool. Shame about the knife animations though. Hope they get fixed. The minecraft one seriously what
I've heard the minecraft one is specifically for Notch. Not sure if It's true or not but I hope that's the case.
As if. Steam would cut into his profits. He needs that money for making games that aren't fun and embezzling.
