Texture Swampy Red tile

    This is my attempt at making a red swamp tile.

    Examining the swamp items, they are normally dirty and well, foggy. This makes difference clouds a good way to generate interest into the texture. It tiles nicely and it reflects cubemaps. Comment and rate blah blah blah

    (I'm on a roll this week with materials ;) )

    It's not really 'swampy', but on it's own, it's a good texture. Would look better with a normal map for sure.

    Edit: Also, maybe tone down the black outline a bit on the black tile a bit, or at least make it work better with the white outline. Give it the opposite of that 'bumpy' look, like that white outline maybe?

    If that's normal (0.25) scale in Porkchop's pic, you might want to reduce the size a bit; it looks overwhelmingly huge right now.

    Looks rather blue than red to me.

    And the border of the reddish part looks really photoshopped.

    yeah i dont like that. but it looks like a pretty good texture. not swampy or red tho if that was your intent.

    meh, I added a normal map, I haven't tested it in game cause I never have time to open tf2.
