Try verifying your local files as a first step.

The next thing to try would be to follow these directions exactly.
    1. Launch TF2
    2. Open console, put in
    Code:
    sv_pure 2
    3.
    Code:
    map cp_example_a3
    4. See if the game crashes.

Go into hammer and in the visgroups tab, uncheck displacements and props (under world details). Then compile a new version and see if that runs under sv_pure 2.

Since I have have problems with sv_pure 2, I have used different method. Go to your Steam games folder, find Team Fortress 2 folder, open it and rename "tf" to "tf custom". Then verify files on Steam and you will get unmodified version of TF2. When you map or the game, rename "tf custom" back to "tf" and when you test packing rename it back

To make Steam download files faster, you can and should copy all these [IMG]
from original tf folder to your new tf folder. When I have those two, it looks like this[IMG]
where "tf cle" is my clean install

I also have trouble with sv_pure 2 but i think my method is easier than hyper's.

I simply remember what files i have used in my map by keeping them in their folders, then remove those folders from tf/custom.

Not so much easier than renaming two folders

i'm pretty sure the problem is unpacked content, he just needs to pack the missing part and it'll work

It is unpacked content. TMB had a thread asking people to check if the latest version (a13) is packed properly. And he managed to pack everything expect one prop.

Exactly what Viper said. There is a prop outside from what I assume is the bulletcrops pack or something. Viper could see it but I couldn't- I didn't have the pack installed locally. That is why it isn't working
