I find it very strange and frustrating that the same level, with the exact same compile options, now produces what I will call inferior lighting. There are black spots scattered around everywhere. There are horrible shadow transitions on models and displacements, which looked just fine before. The only thing I did was to format my drives and reinstall Steam/TF2/SDK again. Is there some sort of secret setting somewhere, or what? Maybe I earlier had accidentally stumbled over that fabled "super extra nice stuff" setting Valve uses for their movies, or something. The logs shows no deviations when compiling. The compiler just doesn't produce the same result as before.
