What the hell, Crash? What purpose could this even have? Why would you need a split cart? That is weird. What's wrong with you?

Reasons.

Model split by Bakscratch, inside skin by myself.

Uploaded for the 72hr contest.

If Blu has to push their cart into a saw, Crash...

You are as crazy as people say you are behind your back.

I'd love to know what you based this on. It looks like a cross section of a bowling ball or something surrounded by dirt and gravel. If this is really what fat man bombs looked like inside, kudos for doing the necessary research.

Yep, it was loosely based off the Fat Man bomb. I didn't make it quite as detailed, but it was my first time making a skin or even just a material from scratch, so it was an interesting experiment.

Oh, Crash, does the texture on the inside have a bump map? If that's so, will that be a problem with the moving cart?

Can prop textures even have bump maps?

Errr, there shouldn't be any problem? I don't think the material should affect anything. All seems to be working fine in a quick test run of it.

Great! Excited to see how all works out. Good luck to all participating in the contest, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

It's a dynamic prop already, so it can't use vertex lighting, it only lights from one point.
Normal mapping nixes a prop's ability to use vertex lighting too, but since it's already only using single-point lighting, there is no difference

For reference, all the player models use normal mapping for the folds of the fabric in their uniforms, among other fine details.

Now you know!
