Spawn the Horsemann with a Func_Button?

    Hello Everyone,

    Maybe this Question is already Answered, or it exists...

    Can you Spawn the Horsemann with a func_button or trigger it, while you have
    the Entity_spawn_point, Entity_spawn_manager and the hole model with sounds of the Horsemann ready in Hammer?

    The Horsemann now spawns on the amount of time(Like 1600 Seconds), But maybe its possible to trigger it with a button or a specific move in the game.


    I hope you guys can help me out ;) and i posted the thread in the right section :blushing:

    i know i saw a trade sever with a voting system for the hh...
    you typed something in chat, and people voted on it...

    but that seems client side

    That's actually a SourceMod plugin from AlliedMods. I use it on my server (though I modified the source coding of it for my server and removed the voting aspect).

    I've also wanted to know about spawning a Horsemann via a button, maybe via interfacing with the plugin.

    Problem with that. The plugin allows admins to spawn the horsemenn where they are currently aiming.

    The command cannot be used from RCON. Has to be used ingame and the admin has to be looking where they want to spawn it.

    If a player runs into where you're aiming when you spawn it, it won't spawn properly and will become stuck in the map, possibly in the void.

    As well, the vote part of the plugin....I don't know how that works when it comes time to spawn the horsemann. I assume it looks at where the player who started the vote is looking.

    So you can't just make it trigger the command.

    Thanks for the reply's,

    The hhh spawns now on the control point because i added the entity_spawn_point on the control point (In my map),

    I have indeed seen on Alliedmodders that there is a plugin that can spawn the hhh
    But its spawns where your crosshair is pointing at. So maybe someone has a plugin or a modified plugin that can spawn the hhh by vote or sm command,

    Or ofcourse someone knows the right setup in hammer to trigger it with a button or movement.

    Lol, I already explained all of that stuff about the plugin, in the post above your post dude :p

    But it's good to hear that you got it working on your map! :woot:
