Ok, another weird one, why does it seem like it's only me who gets them? lol All good, no leaks, nothing hidden, no errors in compile - all is good. I run map and all I have is the exterior shell oh my map there's literally nothing in it. console is giving me a ton of cannot create an unknown entity type messages - probably 1 for every missing component of the map even though some of the items are not entities. Also made sure my hud and r_drawview_models is activated/on Any ideas why my map isn't there?

Hmm screenshot uploads failed May have found the cause after doing some new compiles - displacement on func_brush but I'm looking for it and can't find one so far - using cordon method and keep shrinking it Edit - now they appear as I posted this one - go figure 2nd edit - can't seem to find it but am now seeing this line on the compile log - never seen one before: "Trying to create a non-quad displacement! (entity 0, brush 136)" < looked for the brush it doesn't exist 3rd edit - same message but this time (entity 0, brush 0)
Found the cause, one of my brushes had 1 face inside of that brush that belonged to something else. Cordon helped got it down to about the size of your pinky nail to find the error.
Yeah, the brush id in the report is wrong. vbsp doesn't tell you the brush id, it tells you the ordinal index of the brush. Which hammer doesn't understand.
