skybox help?

    ok i am just adjusting the colors on the trainyard skybox and why does it go kinda fuzzy? do i have to increase the res of the file?

    Either:
    a) The original image's fuzziness isn't quite as visible because it's less contrasted
    or
    b) Before converting to VTF you saved your textures in a low-quality JPEG format.

    i saved them as a png should i use jpeg? i am using gimp and vtfedit

    yea no matter what i import it as (jpeg, tga, png) it is still fuzzy

    hmmmm i haven't really imported many textures into the Valve format, but just go through your VTFEdit settings and make sure that all the resolutions and quality settings are correct and all that jazz.
