So, for my first map I'm going to try to make a map where BLU can gather the intelligence very close to their base at the start, and then has to deliver it at a point at the other end to have the map progress to the next stage. The intelligence, once dropped, would never go back to the start, or take a very long while, creating a kind of Hunted game, only, I hope, better :p

Is this anywhere near possible, though? Also including a good HUD?

You can check cp_avanti which develops that kind of gameplay.

Also don't make the intel not respawn (better have waypoints in, precisely, cp_avanti style). It will just piss off players if an attacker falls in an urneachable location or whatever.

From what I have seen, if you fall into a death pit for example, the intelligence goes back to the original point. But I guess you're right.
