Sign Textures

    Signs are a big part of making a map alive, so I wanted to add some to mine one too, but as I chose a texture and put it on a brush, nothing happened, just the texture from before disappeared. I got a picture for you for better understanding.

    In A you can see the textured model of my problem.
    In B there's the wireframe model and in C are the textures I want to use.

    I hope you can help me.

    The "sign textures" are actually overlays, thus cannot be used on a brush as a lone texture. What you have to do is to make the box over the door completly solid using the same texture as the sides have.

    Then, you select the Overlay mode on the left, and click at the front of your previously created box. You should be fine after some size-adjustments.
