    Hi all-

Opinions seem to differ on this- our map is a custom gametype, "Defend The Flag", which would make sense as "dtf_...". However, I have heard it is bad to use a custom prefix (will not be allowed on some servers, screw up game logic, etc). Currently the map is named "ctf_...", but the prefix really conflicts with all my "dtf" propaganda.

Should I go ahead and re-name it to "dtf_", or is this a bad idea?

    Thanks!

If a map uses flags it's a ctf_
    If a map uses cp's it's a cp_
    If a map uses pl's it's a pl_

    Well, that's how I see it :)

But if you are defending a flag surely that means there is still someone trying to capture it?

If it involves capturing areas in a map on per round basis, its a tc
If it involves 2 payloads, its a plr
