I'm not a modeler by any stretch, but I like playing around with tools like this.

Made some hands, 25-30 minutes. This is just too much fun.

Can you make models and import them to source with this?

You can import them to Blender, so I think so.

Also, some kind of duckmonster in a ball or something

it saves as .obj so yes. but you need another application to convert them to .smd like max or blender.

Also any model made in this will be rather high poly for a game!!

You can "reduce" the model in Sculptris and if it still isn't enough you can always reduce the poly count in Max/Blender and edit where necessary.

I used mudbox to sculpt rocks for loot, then used the highpoly versions to bake and surface, then reduce the polygons to fit them into budget. If you can export .obj from Sculptris, you can certainly get these models into source. I made this big skull with the same process.

Wow. I never thought creating organic shapes could be that easy, quick and cheap.

    Wow!

I have mudbox, but find that this program is easier to use!

My 10 year old sister and I made this! She calls it 'Yo Pig'

Quite the neat little program. Rather than starting with a high poly mesh, it starts with a low, and then adds the tri's when you paint using the tools.

Excellent stuff. I'll have to see what I can make.
