When I finish testing a map and exit tf2, My screen glitches from left to right and I have to shut down my computer to fix it, has anyone had this problem or is it just me?

When you say after testing a map, do you mean after you compile and run it from Hammer?
What you're describing sounds like you've just run TF2 at a lower resolution than your desktop resolution. Either disable the $game option so you can manually launch TF2 and test the map or add the resolution switches to the $game config in Hammer..
