    Hey everyone.

I decided to start making TF2 posters for use in maps. I would love to hear what you think, and if by chance you use this in your map just post here to tell me.

Oh, and for people that have never installed a custom texture before, I decided to put a mini-tutorial to try and help you out. (because I just figured this stuff out today)

    Thanks for your time,
    Kingdom

Nicely done. I'll add it to my materials and let you know if I ever use it.

I think you need to make an outside variant which would have some wear and tear on it. Other than the wrinkles the poster is practically mint.

White borders in the screenshot where there shouldnt be any.

Use $alphatest instead of $translucent. (Sharper edges and it looks better) If you can still see that strange border, make sure to color the transparent pixels as well.
One quick trick is to first make an alphamask, copy the image and layer it underneath and then blur it a bit. Use the alphamask on that, bring the layers together and your done.

Hey, thanks to Tumbolisu's suggestions I've made a fringe-less version of the poster which can be downloaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oms3g4rhccelz0c/Red_beer_posters.rar?dl=0

And thanks to Moonrat's suggestions, I've included an outside wear variant that's included with the other poster download, both of which you can now see in the screenshot.
