    Fogbreak - koth map, might use frontline or construction theme on a foggy day

    A king of the hill map set on a foggy day. Probably going to be a clean construction theme or frontline! If you have any suggestions, post below. Thanks!

    This looks nice. That area to the left in the fourth screenshot is kinda open and flat, and looks unpleasant to push through. Also, I hope you func_detailed those cross supports.

    Thank you! And don't worry, thats all func detailed, and you are never forced to go through the ravine. You can go through it, or into the long sniper building which is slower but more protected. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll probably add some cover there in a3 so that its viable for non jumping classes.

    I see in this screen the signs on the wall,[​IMG]
    your signs on the wall can be replaced with an arrow overlay, you don't have to if you don't want to but I think this map is amazing and way better then my koth map.

    Thanks! I chose the models instead of overlays because they lack depth. I turned off the collisions, so they're pretty much the same.

    Change notes:
    • Removed a shipping container from inside a wall, not even gonna try to figure out why it was there
    • Added some displacements at spawn
    • Darkened the environmental lighting
    • Clipping all over the map

    Notes:
    • Replaced spawn ramp to the battlements building with a drop down
    • changed the rock "ramp" to the sniper bridge to a proper brush one
    • Redesigned second spawn and its half the courtyard
    • Replaced the plank bridge from the long sniper building to the construction site with a displacement ramp, and added a rock
    • Removed clipping above the top of the construction site (you can jump over it!)
    • Hinted a bit more
    • Heightened the skybox
    • Changed skybox + lighting to those of harvest
    • Replaced grass texture with harvest's
