    Sandstone is a King of the Hill map set at an Egyptian shrine. Redmond and Blutarch both believe there to be an Australium like substance in the center below a large slab of sandstone, but neither are willing to share it!

    This map focuses on a more open layout, with long sightlines, multiple viewpoints and A LOT of flanking opportunities.

    From my quick run around on the map, it seems decent. You're going to need to change a few things however, like the 3000+ hu sightline (visible in screenshot 5). This entire area is just a long corridor and could use reworking.

    This might not be entirely necessary at this stage but your map is extremely blocky. Putting some angles in or working with a smaller grid size might help make your map feel a little more realistic.

    Map has been updated, made the map 25% bigger as it felt very cramped. The cap point has been smoothed out. Some sightlines have been shortened. Above all, an impact full balancing change.

    There are some major sightline changes in this so snipers are nerfed. Added some props around the control point for testing purposes. MAJOR lighting change which i'm looking for feedback (whether it's too dark or not) which also means some props have been riddled around the maps
    The water is finally transparent too, which'll help combat congestion AND pyro balancing.
    The room closest to the control point has also been expanded.
    There are other major balancing changes I can't remember.

    Map has been updated and rebooted to a18.
    Expecting to put this into beta very soon as the gameplay side of everything looks to be near finished. Would love it if you guys chucked it in an imp!

    I personally think you should keep working on the layout, i'm yet feel excited to play on this map, maybe that's because we play a fair few koth maps but i'd like to think not. Having stopped being given drastic feedback =/= nothing needs changing, it's just getting where to explain what people don't like about stuff takes more than a sentence quickly written mid-game and people are lazy to post about stuff in the forums.

    Thanks for the feed back harribokid, I will get around to adding something unique and special to the map to make it one of a kind!

    I just had a quick run through of b0a, and its looking quite good, but I came across a view visual glitches and such. I've made a dropbox folder of them if you want them yourself, but I will also leave them with descriptions on i.minus.

    Since I'm not really experienced with major detail work yet, I won't give any innacurate advice I may have on how to add to Egypt's style, but I'll try to help with the technical stuff! Just ask if you need anyone to run amok in your next map release.

    Koth Sandstone has been updated to B1
    This is the first STABLE Beta build, and honestly I couldn't have got to this point without everyone's help at Gamedays, imps and the Chatroom, so thanks and what-not!

    Map has been updated to B5! this hopefully is the version I will upload to teamfortress.tv and the last major update for a while due to the next version will be a major overhaul in some areas (especially caves)
    Please chuck it into an imp when possible as well

    Not a huge fan of those palm trees. They look...Rough? Not sure the word I'm looking for. But the rest of the map looks great! :) Not sure if I've played on a night version yet, but I've really enjoyed all the previous versions.

    Palm trees are staying as they are better than the alternatives,

    Map has also been updated to B6, this is just an optimised version of b5.

    Really nice, i love the spires circling around the capture point, really creative!
