    Sandstone pro is an update to the map koth_sandstone with major changes to cater towards the competitive community.

    Lore:
    Sandstone_pro is a King of the Hill map set at another very similar Egyptian shrine. Redmond and Blutarch both believe there to be more of the Australiam like substance in the center below a large slab of sandstone, and being the pros they are have decided to fight for it during the day with their best mercs!

    I think that your egyptian architexture styling looks really weird. I don't think the panels with they hieroglyphs jutting out looks that great. Also, normally you wouldn't have a V shape to buildings (where the higher you go, the wider it got). As odd as it sounds, the Egyptians didn't really know how to do that on that scale. The very top is fine, with the angled brushes you have, but what could make that spot like 100% cooler is if they were rounded and brought in a little bit so the bottom of the curve wasn't lined up with the wall.

    I'd have to run through everything specifically, but your displacements could use some work too.

    (And that concrete bag in the last SFM picture is defying gravity! It should be bent more)

    Beyond those things, its looking good. Just watch the things that you have sticking out from the wall.

    It was ONLY 1 scrap a picture, and the feeling of having an awesome wallpaper is amazing well worth more than the amount paid, and the publicity they bring is also phenomenal

    In the gameday today most of the server reported fps issues. I know I had them, which is rare for a map. I think the main reason for your fps problems is that there are two large lines of sight (not really but vis thinks they are) that run through mid to both spawns. You could try fixing it with areaportals or occluders. I'm not entirely sure because I'm not a genius.

    Someone said that the map was too white and some people on the server didn't like the environment lighting. I didn't care about it too much.
    Also, someone said that they didn't like how the resupply locker was a little higher than the spawn room floor. Personally I think it looks neat. Although it makes you wonder how it even got up there.

    I also recorded some w+m1 pyro footage of the map. Near the middle I demonstrate some "clipping"(?) issues with a rock and wood platform at mid. It's pretty minor but it's probably a big deal since this is the pro version of the map.
    IMPORTANT: If you're wondering why the hud is broken in the video I'm pretty sure it's because some snowplow server plugins were still on and were screwing it up. You probably don't need to worry about it.

    btw that !fb I made at the end was a joke, even if the sightlines are probably causing fps issues "technically"

    snowplow uses no plugins, everything is mapside... So it was something wrong with your computer :p

    In that case, I know some other people were commenting on the checkerboard hud. I guess that means something really is messed up in the koth entities.
