The first map I have ever released after learning from mistakes of many others.

The map is egypt themed, and includes a dried up river running through the middle.

It's currently only an alpha, so very little detailing yet. I'd be interested to hear any other feedback you have, and if you think it's gameday ready :)

Known Issues/TODO:
  • Lighting issues on the cliffs outside spawnroom doors. Might fix itself when I start editing the cliff displacements.
  • Create a 3d skybox.
  • Anything the gameday brings up.

After some more or less serious gameplay on that map i can say that this map is really good...
It looks really nice, and its really fun to play. And now im out of words...

From the gameday I gathered this map played pretty terribly.

I think for koth maps to work the point needs to be at the same level as most of the play area with extra routes above and below. with the point being lower it just funnels in spam.

I'm not really sure where to go from here now. Probably back to sketching I guess :unsure:
