Ritter - Based off My fav town, Vienna.

Oh man, I haven't Done this in a while.

Aight, so this map is based of medieval Vienna, and has the two teams as outer kingdom come to try to take over the castle, and then dominate the other teams region (spawn).

It has a little gimmick which will probably be worked on. Its a little lane that opens up when the castle is taken over, and can be good for either team. I hope its balanced enough though.

Hope you enjoy it, and just a shootout to my man @FGD5, who's working on a model for me. Thanks for volunteering your time man.

I strongly don't recommend using flat dev textures as they usually don't give the necessary sense of depth and space to the players.
Really? I mean, I thought they were pretty. I'll change em and see how it goes.
Otherwise, does everything else seem to be going okay?

Hey, I'm not completely sure where you get the demos and feedback from the IMP's I've submitted my map to, where can I find these?

So I'm not completely sure what happened in this update, but what I certainly do know is:

I took some walls, and turned it into some little peasant houses, to give the map a feeling of depth.

So this update mostly consists of some minor detailing, mostly turning some blocky buildings into houses, and Me testing with the 3D skybox. As you can tell, still not very good at it. If you have any tips, please contact me.

This is just a small update, tweaking and testing somethings. I updated this because I will not be able to update again in the coming two weeks, since I will be visiting family in Austria. You could say I'm studying the layout of Vienna for the map. This is my excuse.

Due to the previous IMP, I have:
  • Increased size of brazier fires
  • Cut final Point time in half
  • Rooves
  • And more
BTW, does anyone know how to change the title thing that says "capture all 5 points." If you could teach me, it would be much appreciated.

People are aware of the magical distance that can be achieved by trimping the rocks, right? Not to be rude, but I wanna know If I should advise it more.

I believe its time to start doing beta updates. This doesn't mean I wont be open to layout changes, but this layout seems to be a ok-est for now.
This update is mostly detailing, and some unfinished things can be seen, because I'm Experimenting!

Small changes
  • Fixed some stuff based off feedback
  • Made some stuff look prettier
  • Changed the wooden poles to a hopefully prettier wooden wall thing.
  • Oh! and enlarged last point. Hopefully its not claustrophobic anymore.
