revert back to fullbright?

    So, i was developing my first map in hammer and want to go back to full bright lighting how can i do this?

    you can recompile your bsp without vrad, or you can tell the engine to ignore lighting with "mat_fullbright 1"

    Out of curiosity, why do you want to go back to fullbright?

    I assume focusing on geometry for now and planning to tackle lighting later, which is perfectly fine.

    If you're talking about cutting down on compile times so you can make and test minor changes and recompile quickly, you can just unselect VRAD from the compile options.

    I find that geometry is easier when there's lighting in the map, cos it's harder to figure out perspective in a fullbright map.
