[RESOLVED] Need help installing content pack

Hello, I am very new to mapping and have just downloaded the japanese content pack. I extracted the zip into \Team Fortress 2\tf\custom (that's what it said in the readme) but nothing is showing up in hammer editor.

When I open the Japan Prop Library in hammer editor everything has an "error" texture. Where do I extract the zip file to? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could get back to me

What does your file folder structure look like? Within your /custom folder, you should have another folder (the exact name is unimportant), and directly within that, a /materials and /models folder. If your folder structure doesn't look like that, you installed it wrong.

What's inside the Japan Content pack 1.1 folder? /materials and /models directly or another folder first?

You need to restart hammer for custom content to be installed.

Thank you to everyone for your help and kindness. I found the problem - The content pack folders were in another folder called japan content pack inside of a folder of the same name in custom. Problem is now resolved
