im confused with what your asking. Have the stuff I added cover the ends as well?
Yes, exactly that.
Right now, it looks odd that they dont, IMO.
The answer was mention by someone...
Same model, vmt file with $nocull added:
Sorry Sinistarr, but that is the most super perfect version you can get.
Unrar to tf dir.
Model is in models/cerulean/props_hydro/
But now I feel bad, because Sinistarr worked hard.
how the hell???D: lol. I tried doing that a longtime before but it didnt work for me.
Well alright, I do agree thats a million times better. Lol dont worry peinguin, it was good practice for me either way. And now knowing that $nocull does indeed work I can try to figure out why it didn't work for me. I essentially did the same thing as Cerulean when I started this.
I just planted this into the map, and I have to say it looks fabulous! Thanks again, both of you!
Instead of recompiling the model, I just hex edited the .mdl file to look up the .vmt file from a custom directory. I was surprised it worked at first...
You can probably just edit the .mdl with notepad...
I know this thread is over a decade old, and I don't even know if you go on tf2maps.net or not, but on the off chance that you do and that you see this, could you please share that file again? The download link no longer works, unsurprisingly. Thanks!
