    Hey guys,

As the title states, I would like to configure the RED team to push the cart in my payload map.

Can anybody give me any advice on how this could be achieved?

We already have a working payload setup where blue pushes the cart, so Im just looking to switch it so that red pushes instead.

Thanks in advance, any tips would be great!! :)

you should just be able to switch everything team-specific from blue to red. (the bomb caparea, the dispenser trigger). Don't forget to switch all of the point entities as well. (your game_round_win needs to be set to blu, your team_control_point_round/masters need to restrict blue from winning.) Also don't forget to switch the parameters on the outputs for your logic_auto. Change the skins on your props as well (namely the bomb cart and the cap point track pieces). I haven't tested this myself.

Be careful with this though, players may tend to get confused if you switch up the usual red defending, blu attacking.

Thanks for the fast replies guys!!

Obsol33t, your advice was awesome. Im pretty sure I followed your instructions correctly, but Im not having any success.

The cart wont move at all, it just sits there. Im totally stumped, Im pretty sure I switched all of the variables.

I replicated my work in A Boojum Snark's awesome map prefab, to make sure that it wasnt just a bad entity in my map, but the result is the same. I have attached my edited copy of A Boojum Snarks map to this post in a zip file, if you have a few minutes to check it out, maybe one of you guys will spot something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    Hi guys,

So, I woke up this morning and Im looking at this map again, and I still cant figure out what the problem could be...

maxtraxv2 or Icarus, I dont suppose you could let me know how you guys got it to work?

Does anybody have the time to look at my example file and try and figure this out?? Its killing me, but maybe you are smarter?? :)

OOPS!!! I FORGOT THAT SOURCE DOES NOT LIKE SPACES IN THE FILE NAMES!! If you downloaded my file last night and it wouldnt run, please try again - I have fixed the file name and reuploaded it... Sorry!!

Make sure you look through everything, I don't think I covered every entity in my post. Are you using ABS's gametype library or the Valve Developer Wiki?

obso1337 - Thanks for getting back to me :)

Yeah, Im using the ABS Library - I figure that once I work it out it will be very easy to port to my map... But the trick is figuring it out! I checked every single entity, and it "seems" like it should work - but the cart simply sits there, and doesnt move (although the cart heals red, now).

If you feel like opening up the zip file, it has a modified version of the ABS Library in it - everything has already been done - im sure its just one random little setting that Im misunderstanding?

Xevious1 - Thanks for your reply - But I can assure you that nobody will be confused. Make sure you keep your eye out for our Alpha release, I hope you will be impressed! :)
