I was making a map in hammer when suddenly a red circle apeared. It made hammer lag, the map glitch and I dont know what to do. Im in the middle of the developing.

That would be the work of radius culling - it's a pretty useless and laggy feature whose job is done better by the cordon tool. Toggle it off with C or that button on the top toolbar that looks like an R with a red circle around it.

You can test only parts of the map without having to compile everything I quess

Cordon places brushes around what it's hiding. Radius Culling does not. Because of this, Radius Culling causes instant leaks.
The only way it could be usefull is when your map has tons of shit and you are moving around a lot. Your 2D views won't be as cluttered. But again, Cordon does that a lot nicer.

Radius Culling and Cordon do similar things - they both hide objects that you aren't working on. Radius Culling automatically hides objects outside a certain distance away from... either the camera or the current selected object. This is very slow but might still be an improvement if you have a really big map. Cordon hides everything outside a box you define, which is much faster and more convenient. Cordon also turns that box into a skybox when you compile - so a quick way to test small areas of your map is to put a cordon around it, which will prevent leaking. Trying to compile a whole map with Cordon on will be really slow though.

Adding to this, you can also change the draw distance of the 3D camera using the keys 1 and 2, and if you press ctrl+H you can hide everything in your map except for what you currently have selected. (Pressing U will make everything re-appear again.)

So, yeah... radius culling is absolutely useless.

Click on the icon that looks like a strip of yellow and black hazard tape with four red dots on each corner. That'll let you resize the cordon in the same way you would resize a brush.

I'd take a screenshot but I'm on my non-mapping laptop at the moment, but hopefully you'll know what I mean...

Quite seriously, the original thread topic was fine, but now you're just being silly, and unhelpful. You've been asked to stop once. Please do not do this again.
