OK, I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm vain enough that whenever I see that Thanks Received counter increment up, I go to my own stats page to see which post it was and who it was who thanked me.
There, the thanked posts you have made are sorted chronologically by most recent post to receive a first "thank" - not most recent "thank", if you understand what I'm saying. Would it be possible to sort it that way instead? Then I don't have to go sieve through all of my thanked posts and see what's changed.
