Random thought about the train...

    What if I was doing a payload race map where the cart's path crossed with a train. Would it be fun mechanic if both teams faced the possibility that if your bomb cart was hit by the train it would be destroyed causing you to have to start over...

    Huge stalemate potential, but could be interesting yes/no?

    Speaking of trains... Would it be worthwhile to modify CTF Doublecross and add a train?

    Maybe because trying new things is always a good thing
    No because decompiled levels give a headache to anyone

    You never want to destroy a players progress based on random terms of game code. If it was, it would have to be something calculated like the flag reset time in CTF.

    I have a bomb crossing a train in my map and I just disable the train until the bomb passes the track, then fire the train straight after to kill a few people, hopefully.

    There is no way that the cart would be run over by the train because of the way the logic is built.

    Not to mention it'd be a physics nightmare if it DID happen.

    When I was testing it I ended up getting the distance/timing wrong and the cart got wedged between two carriages...

    Lets just say TF2 crashed because that cart was going everywhere.
