I've been trying to finish a map (as in- make one fully playable) for a while but have never been able to get motivated enough to do it. The 72 hour contest was just the kick up the arse I needed to get a map out and here it is!

Ra is a egypt/ lakeside themed map because those themes are pretty nice lookin'.
I tried to make it seem very grand, the kind of place a pharo would live in, with large towering structures. Doing this without making everything too big was, is and will be a chore but a chore I am going to tackle!

It's always nice to see more Egypt maps.

I think the color yellow is little to strong, but egypt is a really nice theme that looks good even if little light in content.

I don't think that is a possibility since this has been entered to the 72h contest.

If the map get wins or gets voted off then he can edit the map to turn of the HDR.

Also your map is named koth_Ra_a1 - capital letters cause problems on Linux servers, please try and stick to all lowercase in future versions

Damn really? I thought I fixed this. Will this be a problem in the contest? If so can I re-save and compile with the lower case?
I am really sorry, I caught this last second and thought "meh I'll change the file name that'll work right?"
    Evidently not.
