Okay, first off all, this is not for TF2 (It's for half-life/Garry's mod), but I REALLY need help, and since this is an awesome map forum, I decided to make the topic here.

To the problem, when I add props in hammer editor, just a few of them shows up in the map itself.

I made about 30 props in hammer, and only one of them showed up.
The props is from the same game. The prop the shows up and the props who doesn't.

This has also happened to me in a TF2 map I made.

Please help. I really need it.

Some props need to be prop_dynamic and cannot be prop_static, and likewise with some prop_physics. In fact, a lot of half life 2 props probably need to be physics.

what prop entity are you using? prop_static is generally fine, but some models don't like it. to check which prop entity to use, when selecting the model from the model viewer, go to the tabs named "Info". there are 3 tick boxes named physics, dynamic and static. these correspond to what type of prop they are, and which entity to use. if that doesn't help (which I suspect, with such a large number of failed props), then I'm afraid I don't know.

    edit: aly is ninja

Generally models that are made to change (skin, rotation) or change position, or animate, need to be dynamic.
