Prop_Static outside the map when it's not.

    I've gone to every coordinate of the props that we're mentioned in this log but I just can't see any problem and none of those prop_statics are going outside the map, but Hammer Editor still thinks they are outside when not. And yes. Checked on pointfile for leaks and none of them was found:

    You sure about that no pointfile thing?

    The static prop outside the map error is a VBSP quirk. Whenever the map is leaking, VBSP may randomly decide that some props are "outside the map" because it can't easily identify the inside of the map.

    Delete the prop_static and re-insert it. This happened with me before and it’s usually caused by the prop’s origin breaking.

    Alright... that doesn't worked too. But I might say this map is based on the Ed, Edd n Eddy Big Picture Show scene where Kankers are crashing Kevin's bike. I just lost totally nerves on this. So, here's my project file, and do whatever you want with it, fix it, etc.

    Requires TF2 Hammer.

    The bottom of your map is a displacement, you can't use displacements to stop leaks.

    Put a normal brush under that displacement that connects up with the skybox brushes (so there are no holes) to fix this issue.

    What? I didn't knew about that! Thanks. Now it works. I'll do the stuff with light_enviroment myself, and also try to position somehow that sky_morningsnow_01 to be like a real morning on a map.

    Even though you've solved your issue, I'll add this to the conversation for any one else who is looking for a fix.

    In the past I've had this kinda of issue (prop somehow leaking though sealed geometry) because I had created a 'tools/trigger' textured brush volume with the intention of creating a 'func_nobuild' zone, except I had forgotten to actually tie the brush to that entity meaning I had a 'tools/trigger' textured world brush covering the prop_static. This made VVIS throw a fit and it told me the map had a leak.

    The fix in that case was to actually make that brush a 'func_nobuild' and it all compiled fine again.
