Is there a way to force only certain frames of a prop_dynamic's animation sequence?

In my case, I have an engineer.mdl that is set to run its taunt01 animation.
The problem is that the first couple frames of the animation have the model laying off to one side, on its back, in a reference position. Is there a way to make it skip those frames so that engie can endlessly dance the night away?

Those frames are for transition into idle anims, as far as I know you can't skip them without recompiling the model.
If it's at the start of the sequence you can't much, but if it's the end you could start the animation again before it goes to reference using timers.
