I need to have several sounds in one map, some looping, some triggered. Each CP area will have it's own looping background sound, and I plan to tie in sounds to my teleporters. But for some reason, I cant get them to play or be triggered? I even used pakrat to pack all the files into the BSP, and it will find the sound when I click auto. I have even tried stock sounds that come with TF2, but no dice :(

Any help on this would be great!!!

To get an idea for what I am creating, here is a short video from our first test:

THANKS! :crying:

ambient generics dont work very well in tf2 since vavle switched to using mostly soundscapes. Your best bet is to setup a soundscape and a trigger to triger the sounds where you want them.
